arfur mo Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 regulators :-they regulate competant persons ..................now angus remember what jeff said and leave it there lol, a competant person in this instance is not required to be a member of any regulatory body (unlike CORGI and Gas). so not being a member is not to say a person is not competant or even incompetant. you can call on Jef advice by all means but concider this before you do, if you state an opinion openly in a forum then expect it to be agreed/disagreed with and/or examined - thats what forums are very much about. Jef feels whatever he says is beyond any revoke or challenge, intensly dislikes it when he is strongly challenged or questioned (albeit especially by me ). but he is wrong imo, because it would make his opinions automatically a 'command' to others. i don't ever accept that and nor should anyone else, so terse or rude retorts in order to belittle and deter an 'oponent from futher question or discussion, just make me all the more determined and resolute . regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!

mjw Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 Hi,The builders have finally finished rendering and I thought I'd put our Telecom Security (dummy) box back up. I have the box, screw and the cap, but I can't find the bracket anywhere! Is the L-shaped bracket a standard fit, the likes of which I may find at the DIY stores? Thanks While this lot go off at a tangent(and that is what they are doing...yet again i will try to help you) unfortunately you will not be able to buy a bracket off the shelf so to speak could you not make one may be or just buy a new dummy box???
