TSS Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 We've all tried to do things that are: in the mind, a brilliant idea on paper are feasible and in practice are difficult to achieve with reliability Although it is possible to get an alarm to turn on lights, boil the kettle, turn on the heating, open and close windows, blinds or electric gates you should ask yourself, is it really really neccessary? Previously, I have had over 60 zones in my house, with almost every "good idea" installed (often in part) Now at home I apply the same method statement as I do for my customers' installations K . I . S . S . Customer satisfaction = improved Delivering customer's expectations = 100% Failures to complete installation on time = near zero Grief from girlfriend = no longer related to the alarm! TSS Communication is "A question asked, and an Opinion given." I offer mine to help you with yours. Statements I make are my personal views only at the time they are posted, if I offend you sorry, must be taken in context and do not neccesarily represent those of my employer.
