Which Pet-tolerant Pir?

As some of you already know, I'm in the process of installing a Pyronix PCX256 system in my modest home. Certainly a challenge for a rank beginner, but I seem to have the control panel and keypad connected OK. So far, so good. I now need to buy some cat-tolerant PIRs and I'm leaning towards the Pyronix KX10PI - not pretty but it does have the advantage (for a beginner) of onboard resistors on both alarm and tamper circuits. For style I think I'd opt for the Visonic K9-85. Another consideration is that two of the detectors will have to be mounted at 2.9m; higher than recommended for either of these two. Grateful for any thoughts.

rockonet for me, we have a 8 year old 9 stone dotty rotty with no problems (with the alarm) in the 10 months she has lived with us, i.e. ever since my son parted with his girlfreind (i'd have preferred to have the grandkids instead of the dog though and keep trying to trade).

this dog has a immitation rubber bone with a squeaker in it, and just will not put it down even to eat or drink water, net result charges down the garden all fierce and ferocious chasing the squirrels - but instead of barking she sqeaks. the squirels are never caught but often injure themselves falling out of the tree's laughing at her.
