Alarmed
Hi Chaps Actually that's not a bad idea! My existing contract is with a BIG national firm who charge the earth so I will ring my local NIS approved firm(s) for a quote or 2. Looking around the parts I want upgraded (panel with a keypad/SAB/remote-keypad for upstairs) seem about

arfur mo
the o/p (like most clients) is after a reduced insurrance premium and a working alarm to achieve it, not a legal battle over badge prefferences. regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!! Guest anguscanplay
Why N.S.I only? your insurance company has no right to say that. S.S.A.I.B is just as good as nacoss silver. or if the member is ISO approved a we are then it is the same as N.S.I gold. the only thing your insurance company are allowed to say if they dont want nsi silver/s.s.a.i.b is ISO approved only. they are not allowed to discriminate between the two schemes if both companys are ISO. usually i put NSI ( but other approval schemes are available ) lol if its the same as NSI gold why not just re-register. It isnt our fault if the insurance ask for it hmmm

It isnt our fault if the insurance ask for it hmmm i know, i wasn't blaming anyone on here. i was just saying insurance companys are not allowed to do this anymore. and why should we have to re-register? we are happy with S.S.A.I.B and should not be forced to change due to insurance companys acting totally unfairly. although i think the S.S.A.I.B should try a bit harder to do somthing about this. its far better then it used to be, and soon they will just be asking for approved companys with iso. s.s.a.i.b. or n.s.i. won't need to be mentioned, that was the whole point of ISO for us. Insurrance Co's have standard paragraphs in their policie's, wether they are right or wrong it is for the S.S.A.I.B and NSI to sort out this problem directly with any errant insurrance companies, not for us to give a lecture on the legailities of the subject to an ordinary O/P surely. regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
