arfur mo
sometime you get asked the question 'can i install my own alarm?' well after the usual banter and safety talk i simply say yes you could, but will you do if you can't complete it or start having false alarms? i explain what that person pays for is peace of mind, i.e. good design, good effective kit installed in a neat and tidy way and also to avoid any problems, while having the ability and resources to resolve any problems promptly if they do ever happen. as for what the price of that peace of mind is worth, is then a matter for that person to decide. the real issue is they don;t know so do their best to find out, and it's a complex decision choosing between various installers because the price is not an accurate guide, the most expensive is not automatically the best, just as the cheapest is not automatically the worst, so the phrase 'you only get what you pay for' is never really good advice. regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
