Ah, from the ECA, not IET/IEE, but interesting and obviously for Trade use so as a mere amateur I wouldn't expect to see that :!:

The section on whether or not work is notifiable (my original concern) is a cut-down copy of sections of the document I linked to earlier.

So, no inconsistencies as far as I'm concerned (and definitely no comments about clipping cables to walls :rolleyes: )

"No exposed outdoor connections" is in the document I linked to, when referring to non-notifiable outdoor floodlights and the like.

But then humans are fallible, that's why referring back to the original information can help - provided it's clear what it means..... :whistle:
