tpj
Hi, I have a garden office which I need alarming, ideally I would like a remote keypad by the door, 1 PIR, a door contact and maybe a panic button. I also want it so that I can have it alarmed while i'm inside (PIR off). I was thinking of this maybe? http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/TSACMG4.html Im on quite a tight budget while refurbishing so

tpj
1st because it in an outdoor building so comes under part p and second because it could be unplugged and forgotten about, so it is not advisable to put on a plug. Would it be ok with a battery back up, when i say garden office its my study - no employees so forget part p!

whistle
Whats the point in having it set while you are in? With the pir off only the final ext door would be set?? If the door is opened it would only cause the EE timer to start.
magpye
you cant forget Part P.its the law But if you want to fit a flood light outside to light up the garden, put it on a plug top, no Part P !! Work that one out. Someone told me I was ignorant and apathetic, I don't know what that means, nor do I care.
