Texcom Rf Extreme

Hi Have fitted a texacom rf extreme in the conservatory have no problems on a night,but during the day will get false alarms now and then.Temperature ok as it has gone of when not hot in room,i think the problem may be the light when sun shines room gets very bright and i think this is the problem.I have the sencer on double knock thanks for any help

never quite got the idea of these, why when there are such detectors as dual techs would they make this?

swap it for a dual tech mate.

Have a dual tech in garage will put it in conservatory see if it works.Could i put extreme in garage and put it on double knock,just trying to save a few quid.

problem is, is a few quid worth false alarms? to me no.

you are saving a lot doing it yourself already, for the price of a dual tech i would not deem it worth the hastle.
