Ohh, sorry, thought it'd be something "universal" in the alarm world.

It's related to GE Security, for instance, they have output expanders which only differ by being ANPI or not. Same product number but with added ANPI to it.

Makes me wonder what that is supposed to mean.

I have never seen ANPI on any of there part codes, but it may have something to do with it being sold in your country ?.

Top tip: if you ever catch fire, try to avoid seeing yourself in the mirror, because i bet thats what REALLY throws you into a panic and dont forget the one thing you cant recycle is wasted time.

Not really. GE has specific country codes (ie: UK is 03, PT is 21). As it seems, they are part of every country's catalog. Just wondering what it could mean...
