gentlemen,

after many arguments with risco and their technical dept. ref the quality of this wirefree product and its installation manuals, could anyone leave us some general feedback as to your experience with this product. I am interested in your views in relation to user friendlyness, user reset and functions, display modes/ properties and general engineering prograsmming issues, all of which we have experienced as an install company. This is not to mension the wirefree bell unit.

Please keep the answers clean as we intend to show the rep from risco your views on the product

thank you all

I really think you should apply for Trade Status then ask the question again in the Trade Section

Look here

Someone told me I was ignorant and apathetic, I don't know what that means, nor do I care.

Ive only attempted to install one and after a couple of hours of engineering programming efforts before taking it to site so you dont look stupid (because they do say your first on is the worst and after that its easy) I found it had far too many options for your standard installation, to get in to them exasperating, and not even connections for a Risco SAB included in the installations manual!!!

I wont be using it again.

I do use 90% Risco stuff but not this chappy.

personally had a few issues with them software been upgraded around 4 times in the year but saying that latest vrsion hasnt caused many problems.

wouldnt say the easiest panel to programme up from onboard keyboard but the pc software does make light work of it.

not so sure on the "ac adaptor" type connection and the 6 rechargeable batteries it comes with.

external sounder was easy enough to programme but there does seem to be a slight overrun delay when turning system off after an activation.

im still waiting for all the house lights to flash on and off when u arm and disarm the system using the remote controls!!!

If you have issues speak with risco buy all means, but airing you dirty laundry IMO is not the way to go.

It is a biased question, you started it with how you don't like it but what do we think?

you should not have mentioned your feelings if you wanted a true and fair review.

Like all products some love some hate, we will not install a wirefree bell at all.

i belive a member on here [adi i think] uses them alot, with no issue.

regards
