tux Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Does anyone know what the pinout of the audio plug on the Com2400 is? Thanks
morph Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 You would be best to speak to your supplier or the manufacturer
tux Posted August 15, 2007 Author Posted August 15, 2007 Is there a way to hear the com2400 dial? what is the modem level option? i think there is something wrong with this com2400, it can see it because it doesnt say com port 1 fault when its connected but it says no ats available and ats path fault.
amateurandy Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Is there a way to hear the com2400 dial? Plug a phone in (via an adapter?) and listen? You may need to time taking it off the hook carefully as the com2400 presumably checks for dial tone before dialling.
Guest Dave the alarm man Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 audio verification board? modem level is db adjust if device is not where intended chances are ports set up wrong
breff Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 New panels and new com2400s dont use com1 anymore and dont need the fly lead, they now use com3. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
tux Posted August 19, 2007 Author Posted August 19, 2007 thanks its working now, should it be sending a text everytime a zone is active when armed and it seems to stay connected and i have to use the reset digi option to disconnect
tux Posted August 21, 2007 Author Posted August 21, 2007 I have set a computer up on another line using PageGate software with GetTap and set the SMSC number on the panel to that line so i can see the text messages it is sending without costing 20p a go but it doesnt seem to be working it just hangs on sending text, I successfully sent a message using ActiveXperts SMS and Pager Toolkit SMSC DIalup Demo App so PageGate is working ok, Is there any other software i could try that anyone knows of?
