Charlie88 Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 I hope someone out there can help me. My mum passed away late last year and I am now trying to sell her house. She had an Optima XL 6 alarm fitted when the house was built. I do not know her code and can't find the book that came with the alarm which might have had a engineer's code. So I am a bit stuck. All prospective buyers have asked me to sort the alarm, any help would be great.
morph Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 If you dont know the code then you would be better to get a local company to come in and service/reprogram the alarm. If you use the forum search facility you will find a manual for your model of alarm
Charlie88 Posted August 27, 2007 Author Posted August 27, 2007 Thanks, did not think it would be that easy. Thought I would get the old "sorry I cant touch that model". Will try to find someone to service and reset it.
Guest anguscanplay Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 Thanks, did not think it would be that easy. Thought I would get the old "sorry I cant touch that model". Will try to find someone to service and reset it. It might take a couple of phone calls but many engineers have the knowledge to reboot this panel - dont let anyone tell you it HAS to be replaced before they attend site Angus
