nikko Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 he didnt mean switch the mains through the panel - did he ? Yes I understand the need to clarify this point to members of the public, but his mains siren should come with instructions as to what is to be used as a trigger. I went up into the attic...I found a Stradavarius & a Picasso. Unfortunately..... Stradavarius couldn't paint, and Picasso made a shocking fiddle. buddyboy Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 i havnt read half of the replies so if someone has said this then ignore it. if its a new sab you have got it should have its own cut off timer in it, so you can wire the bell trigger into the strobe and then wire the master blaster into the bell trig and programme the time as whatever you want. this should work, the timer in the sab will stop the bell ringing, the strobe will still flash and the blaster will be programmed to whatever time you want. im sure someone will say im wrong and it wont work but it was just an idea. arfur mo Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 should it though??...this is a bit of kit which is aimed at the professional market, and therfore as a professional you should'nt need to be told but the advice is in the public sector so we have a 'duty of care' as professionals to be very clear where severe hazards exist to the non aware or amateur. either way no harm in stressing caution, an offended professional is better than a dead diyer and his family imo - yes? regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
