You only need to commit to it without the need to be audited. But when I sent in my application they said I needed to be audited for SR40 www.realsecurity.ie

Their coming down on peple like a ton of brick in the other aspects of the industry yet try to get some solid information or proper documentation from the website and forget about it! Also dont forget the DATA PROTECTION ACT 1998 and the HUMAN RIGHTS ACT 1998. Five main points it covers are - registration - signage - system design - recording - security of data im sure all the cctv guys know all this stuff but thought the rest of you might find this helpfull.
