tinnitus Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 Chaps, anyone do fire system design as there 9 - 5? what officially recognised course do you have to do to become a fire system designer? any info appreciated. thanks guys
Guest Cerberus NI Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 Get onto BFPSA - they do all the design courses that you need. As far as recognised design engineers versus recognised course - most good design guys have worked as engineers first and can there fore see the most effecient solution to the objective (I done the an house 5839:Pt 1 (2002) design course which helped to back up my understandings of the standard that I have to be able to apply every day).

F C E Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 Just look at arfur mo he never recovered from being the ovaltine man and now uses his time skewering the inspectorated companies for non compliances Is this the world we have to look forward to in old age LOL Now back to topic Contact BFPSA they do design courses and also a few others that might be of interest All comments in this post are my own views and do not necessarily reflect the views of my employer
