Thanks, Andy you would need to contact Gardtec technical which you can do by email, but i would not hold out to much hope as over the time the pcb's also have had modifications to accommodate later regulations (just google gardtec). as a lot of th newer features will make very little difference to you unless you need more key holders and/or more events held in the log, so i would ask why? if the panel works and been maintained properly your fixing whats not broke? regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!

arfur mo Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 Angus is right and thats one of the 'minor EN upgrades', as life go's on no doubt will become more familiar. but tall hose i have installed the key holders ask why we have 2 x 'cute' spanish traffic wardens on the keypad . if your really concerned to get them working i think your going to need the main control unit pcb replaced as trhe swift option, that means complete reprogramming so we get into area of your personal competence if doing this yourself (no insult or disrespect intended) or calling in an engineer. if you go the replacement route and you have 8 zones or less than swapping out to a G593 with a voice dialer built-in is possibly a better value option, your new rkp will fit and you could even use the existing one on the landing, master bedroom or by the back door whatever. regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
