arfur mo Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 ring any bells Arfur - a simple apology will surficeAngus no apology required from me, the clue in that initial response is the term "it will be real basic". heard no more so assume he accepted the limitations or had given up on the idea. based on the limited information i am justified to think he would hard wire rather than use a serial link, and doing would not produce the set/unset signals he has suffered by actually using the factory serial cable. now i could have covered all this but i get noaned at for my long posts, ao it seems the general public don't need such in depth advice but my so called peers do then it was muted in a new thread so more advice was deemed required and was given -and very accurately. so what was the 'obvious mistake" you referred to then Angus? (oih! give me back my rusty tin you varmint) regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!

arfur mo Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 you were busted good and proper just accept it gracefully you old goat - as for the mistake I aint going to tell you in the public forum - its in the headers ( but really , telling JP what to proggrame on a digi was a bigger enough one anyway ) Angus nope! (and i'm still waiting for you to come good on your !/2 hour boast which was into about 1 1/2 hours when that post was closed by you favourite mod saving your beacon) your not on my ignore list - so a pm will do are you seriously saying a x490 would ever be used for an arc system requiring open/closed signals via a digi by any decent registered alarm company Angus? words would fail me if that were true the j/p will need the engineer code as the setting is in the engineering section, all i have given him is the relevant area he needs to look at for open and closed signals. without a valid engineers code he and anyone else (not being a Gardtec aware engineer) is totally and utterly stuffed like you were on the fobs . you really will have to try harder old fruit regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
