Fixer Posted September 28, 2007 Author Posted September 28, 2007 All depends on what you call cheap, but personally, i'd put it down to experience and buy 'genuine' new. If you consider that most repair centres will have a minimum charge of say I fly gassed up

Fixer Posted September 29, 2007 Author Posted September 29, 2007 All depends on what you mean by 'not working'Problems could range froma simple connecion issue through to the pcb or ccd being stuffed. End of the day, it ain't workin so having a go yourself is worth it. Well it powers up but wont focus I fly gassed up
Guest anguscanplay Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 Well it powers up but wont focus there should be a back focus on it - you got the manual for this one ?
luggsey Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 Well it powers up but wont focus As Angus says, sounds like the manual focus wants setting up, you need the instructions and a monitor next to the camera, point it at what you want to "look" at and focus to suit. If the image is more then just "out of focus" the camera may be U/S. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Life is like a box of chocolates, some bugger always gets the nice ones! Yes thanks, bought the manual on eb** oop's nearly, online auction. It has loads of dip switches and a focus ring but the more I play the worse it gets nothing that resembles a picture so I think luggsey is right this one belongs in the bin. I fly gassed up
