IanHug
don't forget safe practice, your part 'p' and certification when ever messing with mains voltageregs alan I remember the olden days (about 2 years ago) when men knew how to connect two wires together - not the colour blind ones of course. Apparently you can't even replace a window these days without someone certifying that it's energy efficient. That's a Labour government for you. GJD can be linked to the alarm system, won't be graded but its DIY anyway. As fo adding lights they don't have to be taken back to the GJD head end Alan, you can just run them to an expander, and from there back to the GJD head end in alarm cable.
