fishface220 Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 Hiya, need some help please. I'm replacing the old house alarm (Optima G3) with a new Melcom ST5000. (Told it should be a straight swap) Never done anything like this before so I'm after some pointers with the wiring. The printed circuit board from the Optima has a totally different layout than the Melcom. I've marked the wires with where they came from on the Optima PCB but just need some help in wiring them up in the correct place. Wires that I have: STROBE - (20) SCB - (T) SCB - (A) BELL + (D) BELL - (B) TAMP - (15) TAMP - (16) 13v + (21) 3 RED WIRES 13v - (22) 3 BLACK WIRES ZONE 1 (1) ZONE 1 (2) ZONE 2 (3) ZONE 2 (4) Letters and numbers in brackets are whats printed on the circuit board by the connector. PCB Terminals ST5000: AUX 1 - AUX 1 + SW + STB + STB - BELL + BELL - NETWORK B NETWORK Y SAB 1 G/W SAB 1 RT TAMP Z1-Z4 Any help greatfully received. , Fishface220
