Hi,

My alarm keeps going off even when it is not armed and the 'attack' LED is lit once i enter my code to turn it off. The alarm was here when i moved in and there are 2 emergency panic button things around the flat which have deffinitly not been pressed down. Are these causing this? and is there a way of just disabling them?

Thanks

yes it is the p.a. circuit at fault. one may be faulty, i/m sorry but we can't tell you how to disconnect them as it would be the most secure thing to do.

contact a company from the list in the link on the homepage for a local company, untill then if you don't reset it after you put the code in it should not go off again.

as alterEGO has said,

might be a duff reed or a bad connection in one of the buttons, try gently tapping the casing of each button with a screwdriver handle (not to big screwdriver  ) if alarm go's off this will give you a clue.

could also be a duff standby battery, a small mains disconnection can cause the panic circuit to activate so best have the system checked over properly and serviced.
