Cubit Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Dont worry kh -1150d were not all as bad as these few certain members, you will quickly learn who to avoid and who not to.Welcome aboard.I think im with you on the strobe issue mate, they will be saying street lights are a nuisance next,i have one right out side my bedroom window ,cant see the council moving it though lol. Agnes do as requested and show where strobe is not allowed to run after bell because i think a few thousand engineers are going to have to reprogramme some of their systems. If ever a comment was designed to antagonise. We can only assume from the above that you are also unaware of the Laws of the land too.

What laws ?just asking what paragraph in the standards says strobe cant follow on after bell.Yet another potential member resigns after his warm welcome from all us guys. Sorry Angus ,your request has been noted and i will now spell your name correctly, sorry.
Service Engineer Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 just asking what paragraph in the standards says strobe cant follow on after bell Don't think it mentions the Strobe itself, but there's a bit somewhere regarding the system's status not being obvious to the public, obviously if the strobe's flashing away the whole world can see it's awaiting a reset.. I believe the same applies to the strobe not being used to notify of the system setting.? ........................................................ Dave Partridge (Romec Service Engineer)

alterEGO Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Wont the system auto re-arm? you tell us lol. nothing to do with that, heres an eg. if an optima for sayings sake is activated and the customer comes home enters code to silence and does not press reset the strobe will still flash. it [as any good fault engineer will tell you] also lets most know there is a fault on the system, if its been flashing for a couple of days on say a pub which has been open while it is flashing, anyone who has half a clue about intruder alarms will know it is locked out/fault as the system is unset yet the strobe has been flashing.............. you see? PS: that comment might be better in trade if a mod thinks it should feel free to delete or move.
Guest anguscanplay Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Wont the system auto re-arm? it would need to be in trade to discuse it further
