Hi, i have just installed a texecom premier 412 alarm system in my house, everything works fine and was easy enough. but being my first alarm install i am not sure on how to have it hooked up with dial in access with a wireless device for checking logs etc. any advice would be appreciated.

also, is the pc-com cable a normal rs232 cable? or does that little box in the middle of it actually do some kind of conversion?

if it is a normal cable, does anyone have the pinouts?

thanks for help.

I thought I was going overboard with a Prem48 for my house ;) What made you go for the 412?

I have the comIP module and should be finishing up on the install this weekend, though programming looks like a job and a half with all the settings. Wintex should help out there.
