LED Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 Hi everyone whilst at work today we had a new one of these fitted, looked okay. I am thinking of installing one at my friends house. What do the members think of this panel to be installed in a domestic environment.

Guest anguscanplay Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 LED am I missing something here ? - youv`e gone from doing your own house alarm to seeing an alarm engineer fitting one at work to becoming an alarm installer yourself ? I might be wrong and its really a " friend " but theres a whole raft or rules and regs. you need to know before you start fitting for 3rd parties stick to the panel you have already used is my advice angus

kka Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 angus, you are one of arfurs gems... i can see what you are trying to say here, and you are right in many ways.......experience can never be beating...it takes time, practise and a lot of hard work to learn a new trade....but everyone has to start somewhere, usually with your nose in many books, backed up by fine words from someone who has done it before... and yes by asking questions when you are not sure or do not know. my two pence worth, crawl first, then walk, fall down,(not to many times) then run..........
