Guest jsrazor Posted June 13, 2003 Posted June 13, 2003 I have two dogs (about 60# each). I have the DSC Bravo 6 Dual sensor which claims to be immune to pets up to 80#. It is mounted at about 8' (recommended 7.5-10') I removed the #3 Jumper (recommended for harsh environments - ie multiple dogs etc...). I have tried adjusting the vertical adjustment up and down. No matter what I do even one of the dogs in the room will trigger the sensor. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions?
Service Engineer Posted June 13, 2003 Posted June 13, 2003 Ive just downloaded and viewed the manual, seems to me youve installed, and configured the device correctly. Perhaps its a faulty unit ? Is it mounted on a wall in the corner at ceiling height, or on a bracket. ? If its on a bracket it must be mounted at 90 degrees to the ceiling, not angled downwards. ........................................................ Dave Partridge (Romec Service Engineer)
An Engineer Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 Try the Visonic K9 pir. It has never given me any problems and my supplier says its their best seller. Service Engineer My opinions may not reflect those of my employer, managers, colleagues, customers, friends, family or pet rabbit.
