(Gal) So presumably then the Salamander controller must have a monitored input (trigger) ... because it needs to activate on either an open or short circuit condition on the wiring between the controller and the fire alarm panel.... ? 7273-1 5.1.1 Category A actuation Category A actuation is fail-safe, within the times specified below, under any of the following conditions: a) open or short circuit of wiring that forms part of the critical signal path (within 120 s of occurrence); etc etc....
