1019641 Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 I did a gas install just before Christmas about 6 years ago, as halon was becoming obsolete, We handed the system over on a Monday, gave a general demo and then everyone in turn on an individual one-on-one basis, This one guy "Bill" one of the senior Computer Opps, had been on the serious pop the night before, (Friday night) First job on Saturday was to transfer from auto to manual, he used the wrong key, and couldn't work out why? He saw next to the key slot a BIG orange button with a plastic spring loaded flap over it, he and everyone else had been warned what the consequences of hitting this button would be, it was marked "release" Oh yes he dumped all 8 FM200 cylinders. in his "Condition" hungover, big headache etc.... he mistook release to meal "key release" oops. Very Expensive mistake. From that day on he's known as "Halon Bill". Dean Wholey NCC Dean.Wholey@Ntlworld.com
