aleksandras1234
Hello, I have a question: Is it necessary to instal magnetic contacts (due to intrusion alarm) in automatic smoke ventilation windows? What is the common practice? Thaks for answers.
esp-protocol
Well from a fire alarm perspective obviously a fire event is going to cause the windows to open ... i presume these windows are not opening and closing all day long to generally control ventillation.....therefore when these windows open you will get an intruder alarm assuming the system is set. If you are trying to avoid the "intruder alarm" then i would suggest you need a link from the fire system to the intruder to isolate the contacts in the event of a fire signal being first raised. You may also need a permanent isolate switch to facilitate fire alarm testing.... Depends how flexible your security system is.....
