meales
I fitted an Intellisense 800 hardwired system to my last house and amazed myself that I had no problems in the 5 years I was there (I have to say the cable work was not discreet though, so the professionals are worth their money for their ability to make the cables 'invisible'! Now I've moved to an old house (1900) and hope you would give me your views this wireless system. The house has 2 conservatories (small, I might add!). Are there wireless DT PIRs that would go with the following system: from GX Security: GT490X panel Yuasa NP 7Ah 12v battery 6x Gardtec GT490X Wireless Shock Detectors 6x Gardtec GT490X Wireless Door Contacts 2x Gardtec GT490X Wireless Pet PIRs from Security Warehouse: Risco NovaGard 6 blue live Yuasa 1.2 Ah battery Would it be worth having a Gardtec 490X RKP upstairs so I can guess where the enemy is before I face them??? Any advice welcome - can't have a big dog as the cat would kill it!

alterEGO
you need a 595 kit, that is the panel up from the 490 and can take two wireless recivers thus giving 16 wireless zones.
breff
As Angus says, I dont think that a wireless dualtec exists due to battery life problems. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)

meales
thanks for the advice. One of the batteries was for the bell box and for the panel....or did I miss the pig flying by? Is the 595 panel compatible with the peripherals (good word, eh!) - just bluffing knowledgeable as I don't want a mauling! Can a standard wireless PIR go in a conservatory? What's a good price for fitting a similar system to cover a 3 bed detached (2 conservatories) with detached garage to a similar spec in my original question (Peterborough area)? So many questions!
