barooga Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Manners? You'll soon get the hang of the banter 'tween the Gardtec afficianados' Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional

Tel Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 As Angus says, I dont think that a wireless dualtec exists due to battery life problems. oh yes they do, want a link?

alterEGO Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 thanks for the advice. One of the batteries was for the bell box and for the panel....or did I miss the pig flying by?Is the 595 panel compatible with the peripherals (good word, eh!) - just bluffing knowledgeable as I don't want a mauling! Can a standard wireless PIR go in a conservatory? What's a good price for fitting a similar system to cover a 3 bed detached (2 conservatories) with detached garage to a similar spec in my original question (Peterborough area)? So many questions! you get a SAB battery with the bell box. yes the 595 works with all the gardtec wireless gear no a standard wireless pir cannot go in the conservatory. either wire the conservatorys or if you have room [16 max] use wireless shocks/contacts. How long is a piece of string.
topalarms Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 your new arn`t you?Not as new as you.As Angus says, I dont think that a wireless dualtec exists due to battery life problems.Daitem do a wireless dual-tech.

Guest anguscanplay Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 oh yes they do, want a link? please
Guest anguscanplay Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Not as new as you. well dont be shy then, post yourself in the "hello" lounge and introduce yourself properly, but I very much doubt it
meales Posted November 30, 2007 Author Posted November 30, 2007 double knock sounds like a drink - I can relate to that. If it means something else, you have me at a disadvatage, sir! I do appreciate all the responses here - a great help...and the banter is good too! I'm wondering if I'm ordering too much. 3 bed house, front faces a fairly busy street. Back is dark and not overlooked(conservatory with 1 window opposite conservatory door, back door to house). Side is darkish (conservatory door and 2 small high windows, other sides with 3 high small windows per side, UPVC door to dining room)....and that damn cat! Opposite side is driveway with separate garage at the end (with side door) Is the 595 a friendly beast for fitting by an idiot cos I fit that bill nicely!
