Hi,

I have got two CD3008's connected to a CD95. I set the switches in the control pad correctly so they both have a different adress on the data bus.

But i can only use one of controllers. The second one only displays the software version. Both of the controllers work without a problem when i connect them seperatly. Does anyone know if i als have to change a setting in the CD95?

About then years ago i anstalled loads of these things, bu now i don't excaclt know what to do to get the second keypad working......

Does anyone have the answer for me?, i also havn't got the installers manual, so this makes it even harder to find out.

Can anyone help me?

Greetings,

David

Hi David

I think you need to go into eng programming section "outputs/remotes"

and "install remote" which will install the keypads.

Hope this helps

If the keypad is giving the message NO PANEL DATA, what's wrong ?

It could be one of two faults. There is a chance you've addressed it the same as an Expander or you've addressed it on a higher remote than 8. Keypads on the CD95 can only be addressed 1 to 8 ,address 9 and above are for Rle's only

Hope you sort it

Ive just had something similar with a CD34 on a property that I rent out. Got a call from the tennants to say that the alarm wasn't working. When I got there the keypad was telling me "rd-no panel data".

I have checked all of the usual bits such as ensuring that the jumpers on the CD3008 are set to keypad one. Have also done a full reset on the panel but no matter what, I cant get the panel to recognise the keypad.

There is no other expanders or keypads on the system so Im pretty confused!

Any ideas?

cheers
