alterEGO Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 Just going by internet pricing of CP not whole install so:http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog...d71c18be5297731 compared to: http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog...roducts_id=1386 But then that is only example can see on pricing online so don't know if I am comparing right. But if the only difference would be in the cost of the CP as I presume fitting is the same cost for either CP, I would prefer something that isn't ugly and that offers me expansion later on, especially wirelessly if there is ever a need to add door or window contacts in addition to the detectors. As I have only completed yesterday it is only now that I can let peopel around to survey so will get surveys done. I guess I could save money if all wiring is in by buying and installing myself and then get a commisioning done but doubt it would save that much. that second link is a 595 not a 490x, and it dosn't come with a keypad. BUT THEY TAKE THE DO NOT BYPASS THE BWF WITH THOSE PRICES TO PUBLIC!

alterEGO Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 Because the poster was breaking the rulesno i wasn't, i didn't bypass anything if i can't say **** then add it to the bad word filter. your problem not mine ???I was questioning the statement, not the BWFbecause the panel has an RRP.
barooga Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 because the panel has an RRP. Only a guideline, suggestion etc. Anything other is price fixing and we all know that ain't allowed. The manufacturer is on dodgy ground if it tries to implement minimum prices. Afterall, Sales promotions would not be allowed. They will only take action if the price, through the mainstream channels, is overly inflated. Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional
