Scantronic 9851 & 9930 Keypad

Hello everyone.

I have a professionally installed Scantronic 9851 with a single 9930 Keypad. My problem is that we leave the systems part armed over night and I get up very early in the morning. The warning tone from the system wakes up the children before I can reach the keypad to disarm it. The installer tells me that the volume of the warning tone cannot be altered in the keypad.

Given that, what other options do I have? Can I have a second silent keypad upstairs or is there a better solution.

Many thanks in advance

Tell your installer to look at Command 45 to alter the volume, good luck, it can be done.

Someone told me I was ignorant and apathetic, I don't know what that means, nor do I care.

old scantronic keypads used to have a pot on the back - are they not still the same?
