ranger Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 Does sound like a Texecom bell, If the LEDs are (were) indicating Engineer hold-off then it could be a problem with the panel invoking this mode, however more likely its the bell box at fault. As for the strange sound with the strobe flashing, this is likely a problem with the PCB in the bell and needs replacing Hope this helps, Regards, Ranger. minime Posted December 27, 2007 Author Posted December 27, 2007 Many thanks for all your posts, all is now sorted The installation company have advised that there were a batch a while ago that when the temperature went below -2 ( never gets much above in Scotland! )that the bellboxes would fail. It is being replaced FOC
