Guest anguscanplay Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 You're scaring me to death on your liability and the risk to your customers!Public, restricted access etc. downright dangerous if not done right. Your insurers would have kittens. GET IT DONE PROFESSIONALLY. LOL @ chicken little (well it is Christmas and I`m bored) might be as simple as an electronic lock - unlock door it turns off area, lock door it sets area used it hundreds of times (or there again it might detect movement and drop 12inch bolts into all the fire doors wooooooo)
cjd Posted December 28, 2007 Author Posted December 28, 2007 Please dont take it as were flaming you or anything just making sure you have covered all the bases, dont want anything untoward to happen if you were to miss somethingSo are your Fire Doors programmed as 24 hour zones so that even with system unset they will still set alarm off should they be opened?? currently havve them set up as "security" zone, so that once they are opened they set off internal sounders, only with a code can the sounders be turned off.(visitors don't have this code) once door is closed and system reset they re-arm.
