MartinGT Posted December 30, 2007 Posted December 30, 2007 Hi Guys I have recently had a Vertias R8 alarm installed in my house. I have got two control panels. Initially the electrician who installed it put one in a place we didnt want it so I moved it after getting the engineer code etc from him. Anyways, that went fine and I thought I would have a go with the alarm and see what zones etc were where. I have accidently set one of my entry routes on all the time, even when the alarm isnt set. Anyone know how to stop it? I have looked all over and looked on the vertia webby (which is poor). Martin

Martin Try pushing the 'musical note' on your keypad, this should turn on/off the Chime facility, good luck Let us know Someone told me I was ignorant and apathetic, I don't know what that means, nor do I care.

breff Posted December 30, 2007 Posted December 30, 2007 This is why an end user should not have an engineer code. I assume your front door is zone 1, if so type in engineer code then PROG, type 116 then PROG, press RESET twice. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)

Spot on really, or if it is given, make sure its not to me Its actually the rear door Breff. Would this do the same for the rear door? IE reset it?
