paulmac
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help. I have an Optima XL4 which has been playing up recently. I've had it installed for about 11 years and replaced the battery last year which fixed a previous problem but now I'm getting random errors popping up. At present the Attack light is lit, prior to that the Tamper light indicated a problem though this cleared when the system was left alone for a few days. The bell box doesn't flash when the alarm goes off and I was wondering if replacing the battery there would help? Any ideas? Thanking someone out there in advance

iSTORM
I Couldnt agree more, i dont see the pint in trying to repair a panel that has been installed for 11 years, find a reputable engineer or company who live close and get them to replace the panel for you. arfur mo
its only 11 years old we know, but given it's not been regularly serviced during its time, it's very likely the psu is now not giving the correct voltages on this panel especially - hence the advice. regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
