Guest rhodesmi Posted May 5, 2004 Posted May 5, 2004 Hi, 5 years ago I installed a Veritas Alarm for my in-laws and forgot it came with a lifetime labour and parts warranty. The latest fault is an intermittent alarm due to Tamper. I thought this would be straight forward to fix by wiring out half of the tamper cicuit to find which half was causing the tamper but even if I install a link between the 2 Tamper terminals on the PCB it still goes off intermitantly. I have checked the 12V rail which is OK. I have re-set the alarm and performed a total power off/power on. Am I missing something obvious? in advance.
Guest rhodesmi Posted May 5, 2004 Posted May 5, 2004 Thanks to Dave Partridge also for pointing out the bellbox tamper (I have posted this question in more than 1 place oops) I thought I only had 1 tamper circuit, I will check this out and get back to you.
