nicks Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Could anyone give me a bit of technical advice please. I would like to relocate the remote keypad for my gardtec alarm system. How do I disarm the system completely? Is it simply a case of entering the engineers code, then remove the aux fuse from the main panel? After doing this, am I free to disconnect the remote keypad and relocate it? Thanks for any advice/tips.

Monty Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Hold it if you cause a system tamper and the panel may be set for Engineer reset and could lock you out !! And if the installer has burnt in the Eng code the panel will be useless without that code !! (Don't believe in burning in the Eng code as on all of our installs the equipment belongs to the customer not the Installing engineer.) www.AllanMoncrieffAlarms.com
