soundoff Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 I'm an electrician & a client of mine has asked me to install fire alarms to 5 guest houses over the next couple of years. They aren't huge but are bigger than the sort of student accom that I had some experience of a few years back. So I think it's time I did some sort of a course to get me up to spec on the regs & certification. Can anyone suggest what course I can do to enable me to do the work & to certify it. Thanks in advance
miaren Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Try Tavcom, there courses are pricey but very good value for money. sjonley Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Try ADI-Gardiner, certainly cheaper. ADI used to have a really good trainer whom used to be the southern onsite technical support engineer. He left and went to DM. I dont know who they have now tho. ADI used to do three courses: basic, installer and commissioning, all priced at Kind regards Stuart Onley SAMS Consultancy Independent Security Consultants email:enquiries@samsconsultancy.co.uk website:www.samsconsultancy.co.uk
