amr9429 Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Hi, I have a Castle Caretech Euro Meridian G2 System. Could someone in the know send me a message on how to kill the NVM or restore the system back to the factory codes? I have tried removing the battery and performing multiple combinations of removing the NVM chip, holding the reset button and powering off and on the system, but to no avail. I'm fairly good with alarm installs (although this isnt my profession - more of a know how) but cannot fatham this Euro Panel for the life of me. The system is no longer under a contract (it was with previous owner) and installers are not cooperative. I appreciate those in the know how wont want to share this info in the public domain so please personally message me if you can help. Thanks and Regards, Adam.

djandysp Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 We specialise in castle panel and there is a way into the system but unfortunately as mentioned we cant just give out that sort of info, ring castle technical mon to fri and they might help you out. As for castle panels been c##p its a matter of opinion but ive used most panels and foung the euro range easier to use from engineers and end users perspective. They have a lot of features that are actually useful rather than just there for the sake of it. Oh by the way be careful with the nvm chip they have a habit of blowing if ure not careful
james.wilson Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Agreed. Castle panel is a fine panel and worlds above the eurosec securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

james.wilson Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Omega 5 with an NVM??? I remeber 2L6 and 3L4 software (3L4 allowed a pa on zone 0 tamper and allowed the use of zone 4 as a fully programmable zone) securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
