valks1
Hi I have a Eurosec CPX system. How do i program the LCD keypad to use the part set function. I have been through most of the settings but can not find it. I need to set which zones i want on during part set mode. Also can i set the chime function for front and back doors ?I have them both set as entry/exit but only the front door chimes. Advice would be greatful. ViperMK2
They are both in the same section of Zone attributes: Enter the zones you want to be off in part set 1, 2 or3. next is chime: enter the zones you want to chime: zone 1 on by default. there are 2 chime options, Chime 1 and 2. chime 2 makes a different sound so you can tell which door has been opened. if there is a PIR at the bottom of the stairs make it 'E/E in part' otherwise it will activate when they go down. It may be better to make part set as silent, speaker will bleep after the exit time has elapsed. make sure the customer likes the volume of the chimes and sounders in general. If it's too loud it can be annoying. Sometimes the chime from the keypad is enough. kka
you have to tell this panel, which zones you want to turn off in the various part sets and its the same with the chime suites of which there are twoi.... tbh if i was standing next to the keypad i could show you no probs....but trying to visualise it and then explain it , this way is quite difficult....do you have a manual? arfur mo
to clarify, when you get to part set 1 settings it shows no zones, so press 'NO' then 'zone number' and 'YES', that zone appears in the window, repeat as required. if you input a wrong zone, press 'NO' - 'zone number' and 'NO' to delete it regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
