steven sneddon Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 I am a self employed alarm engineer, who does only sub contract work for other established firms. I have not read the 5839 foer at least 8 years. I would like to get up to speed with current conformitys regarding BS-5839 without having to go to the cost of joining a governing body as i am a small sub contract firm, affiliation is still far from my thoughts at the moment as i am just trying to keep my head above water. I have a friends in the industry who tell me new scenarios they have came across, but i am looking for clear cut black and white conformation. I know this post is really long winded (probably because i am)i have never posted before always been an observerver. Could anyone point me in the right direction.
