2ltr16valve Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 im no engineer so could be far off the mark here, but is your exit/entry sensor working ? reason i ask this, as if the system dont sence you open-exit-close sensor then would it still set ? as i say, could be wrong so dont take it as gospel.
topalarms Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 How many repeated beeps? Beep. Beep, beep. Beep, beep, beep etc
Alarm Protection Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 The system has lost it entry/exit which i have had on several occassions with the Accenta(old model) during takeovers. The system needs to be entered into engineering and programmed again or the timers. Has the system been serviced in the past 5 years? If not then back up batteried need replacing and full service carried out. Why not phone round for an alarm company to service the system? and replace parts etc to get the system up and running?? !

Hi There, Try and set your system but stay inside and look at you keypad/panel. Look to see if a zone light is on,if there is a light on and the system is bleeping, this is indicating an open detector/contact. Try changing the contact or detector and try again. Be aware that you need to understand what you are doing ! If you have no engineer code and create a tamper you may not be able to reset your system tamper, this will then require an engineer visit !!
