vssuk Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Right this is going to sound like a problem that should NEVER happen, has anyone heard of any problems with a Dual Com Plus unit i wont go into much details apart from saying that there was an issue with signals being sent/ recived by the central station but the alarm panel had a full log of activations etc.
antinode Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Not sure what you're getting at? No signals recieved yet there were activations? Trade Member
topalarms Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Dualcom generally well reliable. New install? History of sigalling?
arfur mo Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Dualcom generally well reliable.New install? History of sigalling? agreed, especially used to happen with digi's, was not unknown to be given the wrong receiver info by the ARC, panel signals gets response so no FTC flags in memory, but no action at ARC as that client is not 'known' on that receiver, and the reciever don't flag unknown signals recieved. very frustrating fault to uncover. regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!

vssuk Posted February 28, 2008 Author Posted February 28, 2008 its commisioned right as they have been getting all signals on previous events and new events
IPAlarms Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 its commisioned right as they have been getting all signals on previous events and new events This sort of thing used to happen to me all the time with one ARC. ...what signal ? Not with a dualcom I must point out. Free Alarm Monitoring over the Internet from IP Alarms
topalarms Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 its commisioned right as they have been getting all signals on previous events and new events Give CSL a call and ask for an audit trail on the time in question for the unit, it'll give info on whether or not it signalled, to who and when.
