Hi everyone i need some advise on cctv,

i am looking for a fairly cheap one and saw one in argos GET cctv which seems a reasonable pirce can i get this to record on to my vcr through the tv and will it do night time coverage to ?

Also the GET PIR range does this mean its only starts to record when there is motion detected ?and will this also be able to be connected to my tv and vcr and do night time recording too whe motion is detected ?

All advice greatly appreciated as im a total novice

thank you in anticipation :-)

To be honest we have replaced a couple of the argos camera's, the small black ones with the green light, it honestly depends on what you want to spend and what quality picture you are looking for, but in my opinion the quality was'nt that good, System Q who are members of this forum do a small camera (advanced vision) i have installed many of these and never had a problem, you could combine it with there video remote starter and external pir, as for night time vision i dont thin the Get system have infra red, but any camera of that type will struggle to see in the dark! Think about adding a couple security lights. Hope this helps in some way.

System Q are trade only, browse google for CCTV there are many suppliers that sell Plug and Play systems to home/business users and will offer much better quality than argos or b&q cameras
