Ip Dvr

Contact your supplier for technical support, they should be able to assist you. what make of dvr and what software by the way!

The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct!

Is it the correct remote viewing software for the dvr you own? As already said you should ring technical support or post the make and model of the dvr and i'm sure some body will be able to help you.

you will need to port forward the router from a fixed ip address (supplied) from the isp to an internal lan ip address (dvr ip address)

see www.portforward.com

select the guides referenced your router and then look down the list and look how your router is setup for various programs.

Contact your supplier for technical support, they should be able to assist you

Good advise by iSTORM but I will be surprised if the suppliers will help you.

I mentioned a static ip address from the isp. Port forwarding is easier to setup within the router with a static ip address than a dynamic but there may be a cost implication with obtaining a static ip address from your isp.

The attached file will give you an idea of what is needed.
