arfur mo Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 does it cry as well? yes! and it's a blinking nuisance If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
valks1 Posted February 13, 2009 Author Posted February 13, 2009 I now have a front and rear bell box installed. The box at the front flashes to show confirmation, but the rear one does not. Is there any way of extending the time of signal sent to the strobe to allow it to build up charge easier? Any help would be good.
Rulland Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 try using a different core If the panel can't supply it the sounders won't work as you expect-don't matter if you've run a seperate cable let alone core.
valks1 Posted February 14, 2009 Author Posted February 14, 2009 Both strobes flash when the alarm is triggered or tested. Its just the confirmation part. So is there no way of programing the alarm to send a longer signal ? Or fitting a capacitor in-line or something ?
james.wilson Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 you could fit a large capacitor in parallel with the strobe connections but it will need to be large. You could add an intelligent timer module to the strobe to extend the time it flashes after the output turns off ie a TKC Extremely Handy Little Timer use in mode B and connect in parralel with the existing strobe trigger. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
