During redecoration had to temporarily remove PIR from wall (no disconnection of wiring) which sets off a continuous tone at the PC1555 keyboard. Previously advised by installer that this can be reset by disconnecting the red wire (at the back of the keyboard) and then reconnecting. This had worked previously. It also worked this time but then noticed that the visual alarm outside the house (front only, not rear) was flashing. Cannot reset. Cannot find anything in the instruction manual that helps. The keypad does not show any faults, the green active LED is on.

Try this: With system unset, enter *3 on the keypad. The keypad will flash the memory light and light up the zones on which any Alarms or Tampers have occured. To clear this you should then simply have to Arm the System & then Disarm it. If this does not work then although the trouble light is not on you have a Fault: The first thing you should check is that the Lid on the PIR you removed is properly re - fitted. If this does not work then your best bet would be your local Dynosecure agent.
