dogtag Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Hi all, how do you out there use domes on an install, that is dvr controlled but has no operator? 1 set up a tour and leave running 24 hours. 2 set a home position and use a trigger, pir or contacts. ? 3 something else??? all

Could be either depending on customer preference and budget, (2) generally speaking offers more versatiity but requires more cost.

It might also just possibly have something to do with the Operational Requirements IMHO, making cameras produce pictures is very easy, but making cameras produce results is a whole different ball game.

Very true - getting the customer to see that and pay for it though is often yet another ball game.
